The eagle eyed among you may have noticed that my blog has changed a little. This is to bring it into line with the rest of the website and give it a cohesive look. This means you get a sneak preview of how the website will look and what the logo is like (gosh aren’t you lucky!!) What do you think?
I also had some new business cards printed at

I have heard rave reviews about this company, and although a bit pricier than good old vistaprint, the quality and speed of service was just great – I LOVE them, especially the curved edges!
I even have a discount code for you should you want to order your own – just follow this link and grab yourself 10% off. Sweet!

I have been trying to give The Polished Button a 1930’s style makeover, and looked towards old haberdashery packaging and signage for inspiration. I love the quirky illustrations and muted colours – check these lovelies out!

I really want to harness that thrill of recieving a beautifully designed and packaged item through the post; there is a lot to be said for vintage attention to detail and good old fashioned customer service!
